It has been a cold week in Boston, has any die hard cyclists come up with an innovative way to keep warm?
Once again thank you for completing my survey. If you have a chance please take a look at it. Every vote helps!

I wrapped my gloves in plastic shopping bags for better wind break. A bit slippery on the bars but a big warming difference.

I use a full face motorcycle helmet to keep eyeballs and ear lobed from freezing. It takes care of the whole head of course, no need for balaclava/hat etc.
I use motorcycle heated gloves. This requires a wire and a 12v (ish) battery. I use a RC race car type battery, fits in my pocket.
This was enough (with regular pants, wool socks/sneakers, and mid weight jacket) to keep me warm (enough) on Friday when it was 9 deg F, for a 30 min commute.

I like your ideas for using plastic bags and heated gloves. My friend uses heated gloves though he always seems to have trouble with the batteries dying quickly. One cool solution I found were Bar Mitts. Im not sure if I want to pay the $70 but they look like they would do a great job at keeping your hands warm:
